A Street Car Named Desire
I did not publish this post because I did not feaguire out who is the most sympathetic one.
It is obviously that Stanly is the least sympathetic one because of his monster behaviors, even animals will not like this.
I can not dicide whether Blanche is the most sympathetic one or not~
Because her behaviors are not so good at all, somehow lead the miserable ending. She ought to take a bit responsibility for the "her crazy".
From my view, Stella is really the most sympathetic one. She has a monster husband and a crazy sister, who was raped by her husband. Since she has a no job , so must keep the relationship with husband. Also they had a new baby, who need a father~
However, Stella feel bad for her sisiter, because her husband raped her. Then her sister became crazy. Anyway, these two events are related in her view. Actually, I think it is true that her husband's behavior lead to the resalut of her mad.
If I am in Stella's position, I would try to find a job. Then I will live by my own. I will take care of my child, and take he to visit his father. When my child grown up, I will told that his father's animal like behaviors~

A miserable experience that i enjoyed with "my team"
After accepting the role of Daphne, I have slightly regeted. Actually, I did not discuss about the charactar yet, but followed the ladies' dramatic ideas that i should be Dephne to interesting the aodience. So we design the lines and the sences for this "gender changed" me. Our group is so good at orgniazation and creation that we almost finished our video on last saturday with Jamie's group and Natalia's group. I am really appreciate these two groups also my groupmates, Uchy and Mia. Without you guys my effort properly will in vain.
I have to say that is a miserable experience that i have never had before, but i enjoyed it Because i can feel the teamspirit and friendship around me, i got the power to survive. OK,
i am sure you can not wait anymore to hear about my miserable experience. Here it comes.
I didn't know how fat i am until i put on Jess grandma's dress(the biggest one No.12). When mia and i put my body into the dress, we relaized that we can not draw the zipper up. So the only way to make it up is to put Uchy's scarf on my should. After finished dressing, Jamie gave me fake hair, which made me felt very hot and could not stop to sweat a lot. Then things became even worse that all the hair was adhered to my face. These two things told me that I ought to show my respect to girls and ladies because they can haddle long hair and slim dress.
Just survive from the physical suffer, another mantally strike came to me.After taking all the video, we sat down to watch our own videos. When i saw how i perfoemed, i almost had sick on Mia. At that moment, I felt shame of my action.
However, my friends were satisfied and our job had done. I am glad i can do somthing that let myself know that how lucky i am a boy and let my friends know that i will do anything just for giving some to fun.

Art Unit Review
We finished this Art unit, but we can never finish renewing the difinition of "waht is art".
I had said that, for me, it should include two elements. One was sense of beauty, the other was particpateable in.I rethinked about these two and found it really may be my value system which is realated to the two. From my view beauty meant perfection, but not all the art should be perfect. If it can be particpate in, it also make sense to me.
After thinking again, I felt that I need somthing more realism. Not all the art are made for popular, some of them is just too hard to enjoy or to be participated in. However, I can not take these work away, but how can i difined them? Sorry i have no answer now, but i try really hard to find it out. It will be some day when i will suddently realize the key point. To make this come ture, properly i need to study somthing about art works although it is hard to me.
Next, i would say somthing about the whole process of persentation.
I am working with Jamie and Jing this time. Both of them are devote a lot to the team work especially Jamie. We talked about the order of presentation, and orgnaize the structure of the perform. Plan is somthing which really worked in this presentation. I will keep do it next time. Aditionally, We prepared out PPT on that saturday, and i really appreciate him for teaching me a lot of speach skills also skills in PPT-making.
I could not get this progress without my teammates' help. Thanks you so much.

Mann and censorship
Firstly, i totally against that artists should be censored. It should be respected for not the content,but the right of freedom of press. So whaterever artists make in legal way it must not be censored by government.
I like Mann's photography of her children.May be sombody could say she has have her children,but the factor is that her photos surely have a sense of beauty. Including the naked children,however,in my view it is ok because the sextrual seemed the not so strong to normal person. I mean as a adult it can be ill to think that naked children are attractive. Combining the ligt and shadows,Mann obviously want create the photos of her children like "fairy or angels" in the "utopia".
I think art is the thing that we will find the aesthetic feeling in it. It is pretty cool pick up the stuff anything for fun and she has a gift in this way of creation.
However, they are beautiful photos i think.

Music Unit Comment(assignment)
We have finished presentations which i thougt they are interesting.
i have ever do such kind of speach before so may be it is difficult for me in the oral part.
The easiest part is the eye contact,jajajaja because my eyes can move fast.
I think other people's presentations are much better than ours since they did more fluently.
Next time may be i will try to get the computer work right and speak more fluently.

1.Why was jazz so special to the author's father?
A life in music was author's father's great passion.Jazz was special to author's father because he appreciated Jazz science he was yong,and he enjoyed it as thought it wewe his private discovery.
2.Did the children in the family actually like jazz?
Yes,they did like. Because it was the music the children grown up with, they had a genunie appreiation of jazz.
3.What does the author think of Greek music?
He thought Greek music was an oxymoron.
4.How does the author feel about his father's behavior at the Dave Brubeck show?
The author felt his father's behavior was strange even abnormal.
5.When and why does Lisa cough up a mouthful of grape soda?After the author's father said that they should think of putting an act together.She could be scared.

Q 5&6
Q5:
I think blues reflected people' living situation in both lyrics & music.We can know stories from lyrics, and feel singers' emotion by the tone as well as melody. Blues singers' life have somthing indelightful. When lyrics (just one last dance) like "turning around~around~around~like the first time~", the melody sounds like "don't go please stay for awhile ". You can really feel girl's emotion that she's not willing to let the man go,but she knowed it's the last dance.All these songs i think are all from stories a little sad. Can't you feel a little sad from this lyrics and the melody?

Blues can be sad also a little pity. As far as i heard, blues always told sad stories.But listening to blues makes me feel better when feel alone. That just like someone told you a sad story and after you feel sorry for the person in the story.Then you will feel better about yourslef. I enjoy the melody as well.

Introduction
My name is Zhang Yifan & I also have a nick name in english that is James.
"YIFAN-一帆" in chinese means "one-sail".Somtimes like destiny that i'm always living in the city by the sea.
I come to Boston for learning english.I am really happy to study with you guys.All of you are smart & nice.
In China, I majored in Electrical Engineering.I want to get futher education in the U.S. So come here and get my english improved is my choice.I am now findding the opportunity that can let me into a master degree programme.In the future,i dream to be a engineer.
I love my home town "shanghai".I miss my famliy & miss my girl friend so much.
